Yajie comes from China and is now based in LA. 

She graduated from Tsinghua University with a bachelor’s degree in environmental art design in 2020 and got her  Master’s degree in production design from AFI in 2023. She is currently working as a production designer and art director, her work has won and been screened at lots of international film festivals, including Tribeca Film Festival, Palm Spring Int’l film festival, Santa Barbara Int’l Film Festival, Cleveland Int’l Film Festival, HollyShorts Film Festival, Tampere Int’l film festival, and many others. She is currently an ADG PDI member.
